Putting the Axe on AXE.

Unilever has lowered the volatile organic compounds released from its AXE DEODORANT BODY SPRAY FOR MEN after being fined over $1 million by the state of California in February for “significant excess emissions”.

A great show of “significant excess emissions”!

California’s clean air standards mandates that volatile organic compounds be at a low, specific level in aerosol deodorant sprays.

Volatile organic compounds add to ozone.  Ozone exposures can result in coughing, heightened asthma, weaken breathing, and tighten chests.

Now we can breathe a bit easier.  Thank you, California.
