Inspired By Miss Lauren Conrad

“Inspired By” is a segment where I take an inspiring image from who knows where and I pull healthy makeup products that mirror the colors in the photo.  Think of it like pulling crayon colors from the box.

Last week Lauren Conrad added some confection, tie-dye action to her tresses (yes, that is her pictured above).  You may have caught wind of LC’s new kaleidoscope locks as this picture bopped around the internets once she posted her new look on her beauty site,  The Beauty Department.  I have to say, I’m in love.

Loving Miss Conrad’s tips, it got me excited about color, so I gathered some eyeshadows, eyeliner, and lipgloss from Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics to match the vibrant mood with a bit of subtlety.

Youngblood is a mineral makeup line that was first developed for those with skin severely affected by medical procedures and for those with sensitive skin conditions, such as rosacea.   The formulas proved very successful and healing, Youngblood is now being sold outside the doctor’s office.  That’s good news for everyone!  The palette below is non-toxic, and not to mention beautiful.  Youngblood is carried at Henri Bendel. You can also click on the links below to purchase.

3. Crushed Mineral Eyeshadow in Moonstone

Inspired by LC’s hair?  Would you do the same?  Leave a comment about it!

And yes, I seriously wore this while writing and I’m totally pointing at my boobs.
