Let’s talk about everyone’s favorite fruit…

Cherries!

Life is indeed a bowl of cherries.  How do these summer beauties keep us all the more prettier?

  • Cherries are anti-inflammatory.
  • Melatonin in cherries regulates our sleep pattern, giving us more stable beauty rest.
  • Melatonin in cherries also slows down natural aging.
  • Cherries are high in Vitamin C, which ward off free radicals that damage skin.
  • Cherries also have Beta Carotene.  Beta Carotene improves eyesight and skin health.

Since cherries are such a luxurious treat on their own, I am going to pass on providing a recipe for this post.  Just rinse and nibble away.  If you can tie the stem in a knot with your tongue, then you are super talented!

If you are willing to use your cherries for a topical beauty treatment, here is a mask that reduces acne, rosacea, dark skin spots, and wrinkles.  

This mask is definitely not lazy.

Add a spoon of honey and a few drops of lemon to mashed cherries.

Leave on face for 15 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

With all the work that cherries do for our beauty health, it is no wonder they are never cheap!
