Winner update: Congratulations, Em!  You are going to smell all gorgeous in coconut!

  1. An unlimited amount of sunscreen and a very large hat. I know that’s two, but they’re equally important. :o)

  2. A whole lotta sunscreen. Have you seen my pale skin?!

  3. Janet Schmidt says:

I thought of sunscreen first as well. But, my number two would be a loaded, connected kindle fire with a never ending charge.

  4. Chocolate!

  5. Jessica G says:

Sunscreen and a great book! Both are important!!!

  6. sunscreen-lots of it!

  7. Rebecca H. says:

I would have to agree with those that said sunscreen. I am incredibly pale and burn easily. However, in addition to the sunscreen, I’d love an endless supply of ice water. It is very important to keep hydrated!

  8. COCONUTS. They have endless uses!!!!

  9. Janice Cash says:

  10. A nice cocktail…something light and fresh to sip while I’m soaking up the sun in my bikini. Maybe I’ll make a green juice spritz of some kind. Ahhhh…not practical but super fun.

  11. Sun glasses

  12. Hmm…I’m going with an endless amount of books. I’m sure I can find some shade to stay away from the sun :)

  13. Caroline says:

I know everyone is saying it, but definitely sunscreen!

  14. My dogs!

  15. A friend of course. Solitude on a dreamy tropical isle can only last so long before you go stir crazy. Besides with all that sunscreen you’re going to need someone to apply it on your back lol.

  16. Samantha says:

Sunscreen is brilliant. I would vote for a supply of books as well!!

  17. monica anderson says:

I couldn’t live without Sunscreen,or a natural moisturizer if I were stranded on a dreamy, lush, tropical island.

  18. Coconut oil has so many uses, so that’s my pick!

  19. I know it’s a bit corny…. But my husband and son!!

  20. Jennifer sitz says:

    I couldn’t live without chips

  21. A deserted island, huh? I don’t know that I would take anything with me, I mean…serenity, fresh fruit, fresh air & water…what more could I want??

  22. My man. Definitely my man.

  23. Bridget O'Brien says:

If I say ‘a library’, that counts as one thing, right? 😉

  24. Jana Pendragon says:

I could not live without the coconut oil I use after a shower or bath, to remove make-up and as a lip balm! Of course, I agree that lots and lots of sun screen would also be required!!!

  25. ellen willett says:

coconut I know all the uses for it

  26. I’m super pale too, but I’m going to have to go with my hubby and kids. I’d rather be forever fried than be lonely.

  27. My animals

  28. I feel redundant saying it, but it would have to be sunscreen! I’d also need an endless supply of lip balm.

  29. Jennifer says:

My electric toothbrush! I hate the feeling of fuzzy teeth. And there would be an electrical outlet somewhere…

  30. My books. They could spark an idea on how to get back home.

  31. I couldn’t live without my family, if stranded on a tropical island.

  32. A boat because a dreamy lush tropical island can only be awesome for the first few years.

  33. Katherine says:

OOh I would have to say either coconut oil or my man…both have many uses, hehehe

  34. Hmm, in the literal interpretation, a knife, or better yet, an emergency island survival kit! That is one thing, isn’t it? But in the fantasy island stranding scenario, of course the survival basics would be in the deserted waterproof shelter already on the island. :) Then in terms of what would be a real nice to have: my man, my dog, yes, that sunscreen, my favourite Alima powder foundation, and some deodorant, and a nice Lavanila Vanilla Coconut fragrance to give me confidence for surviving on the island!

  35. Organic fruit, natural sunscreen, chocolate, sunglasses, and red wine;)

  36. I would bring sunscreen. I get red fast!

  37. Mindy Berry says:

    My husband, Steve.

  38. I know the smart answer would be a swiss army knife but a hammock would be a nice luxury… Hammock!

  39. Ummm, does the internet count as one thing?! I’d be pretty lost without it 😀 Failing that, probably a toothbrush…dental hygiene is very important, you only get one set of teeth!

  40. Sunscreen & the Holy Bible…infinite sorce of divine wisdom. Spend my time studying, praying, learning & collecting all I could from the beautiful, lush, tropical island I’m stranded on. 😉

  41. Chapstick! That sun would dry out my lips so fast.
